TEACHING ARTIST

Peter is an Associate Professor of Musical Theatre at Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey. He is the Founding Director of the Musical Theatre Program at the Stella Adler Studio for Acting where he created two different curricula for singing actors; a five week summer program for developing early career actors and a two week program for burgeoning professionals. He also created a Musical Theatre curriculum for the Perry- Mansfield Performing Arts School in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. 

He has served on the faculty of the Manhattan School of Music, and has been a guest lecturer at NYU’s New Studio On Broadway; Cornell University, Ithaca College, Yale University, Pebblebrook High School, and the North Shore Music Theatre Education Division. 

He has also taught young actors for Inside Broadway, and led master classes for performing arts teachers in the Broadway Teachers’ Workshop. 

Peter is an Artist Ambassador for the Christchurch International Music Theatre School in New Zealand, and is available for both guest lectures, master classes, and private coaching.
